Dr. Edith Iheama (Ogochukwu Edithmadonna Priscilla Iheama) - Director & Chair
Dr Edith Iheama is the Founder, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Vanclaron CHATS. A qualified medical doctor, she holds an MBBS from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria, and a Master's in Public Health from the University of Wolverhampton.
With extensive experience across the NHS, private sector, and community organisations, Dr Edith has held a range of public health leadership roles. Vanclaron CHATS was inspired by her lived experience as an immigrant and her passion for addressing health inequalities affecting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), refugee, and asylum-seeking communities. Through Vanclaron, she works to improve access to culturally responsive health and wellbeing support, helping communities thrive before they reach crisis point.
Mr. Peter Cook - Director, Finance
Mr Peter Cook is the Director of Finance for Vanclaron CHATS. Mr Cook has worked in several senior roles at Barclays for 40 years before retiring as the Director for Information Risk Management.
Revd Dr Daniel Tsioi
Revd Daniel Tsoi is a curate at St Nic’s Church Nottingham and a former NHS psychiatrist and medical school lecturer. He has a strong interest in intercultural ministry, racial justice, and community wellbeing, and brings extensive experience in healthcare, theology, and cross-cultural engagement.
Farah Agha
Farah Agha joined Vanclaron as a volunteer in 2020 and is passionate about supporting BAME communities and giving back to society. Originally from Pakistan, she relocated to the UK from Dubai in 2020.
Farah holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and has over 12 years of international experience across the oil and gas, logistics, and healthcare sectors. She currently works in life sciences logistics, supporting the transportation of clinical trials, pharmaceuticals, and specialist healthcare materials.
