Dr. Edith Iheama (Ogochukwu Edithmadonna Priscilla Iheama) - Director & Chair
Dr Edith Iheama is the Founder, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Vanclaron CHATS. A qualified medical doctor, she holds an MBBS from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria, and a Master's in Public Health from the University of Wolverhampton.
With extensive experience across the NHS, private sector, and community organisations, Dr Edith has held a range of public health leadership roles. Vanclaron CHATS was inspired by her lived experience as an immigrant and her passion for addressing health inequalities affecting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), refugee, and asylum-seeking communities. Through Vanclaron, she works to improve access to culturally responsive health and wellbeing support, helping communities thrive before they reach crisis point.
